Deeplight | Technical Requirements for SRRC Certification of China of Automotive Radar
The automotive radar equipment manufactured, sold and used in China shall comply with the Radio Frequency Technical Requirements for Automotive Radar, and shall apply to the State Radio Regulatory Commission of China for radio transmission equipment type approval.
Since March 1,2022, State Radio Regulatory Commission of China will no longer accept and approve the application for type approval of vehicle-mounted radar radio transmitting equipment in 24.25-26.65GHz band.
In principle, the on-board radar equipment in 24.25-26.65GHz band that conforms to the original regulations and has been put into use, and the vehicle ranging radar equipment in 76- 77GHz band that has been put into use can be used until they are scrapped.

IV. Receiver Blocking Characteristics
In case of interference of unwanted signals as shown in the table below, the receiver of automotive radar equipment shall still be able to correctly process useful signals.

The 76-79GHz frequency band is used for automotive radar. The main use scenarios include adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance, blind spot detection, lane change assist, parking assist, rear vehicle warning, pedestrian detection, etc.
Unless otherwise specified by the State Radio Regulatory Commission of China, this frequency band shall not be used for other types of land-based radars, nor for radars mounted on aircraft (including unmanned aerial vehicles, balloons, airships, etc.).
It is not necessary to apply for a radio station license for the installation and use of automobile radar within the 76-79GHz frequency band, but it shall comply with the laws and regulations on automobile performance, safe driving, product quality and other laws and regulations of administrative departments such as road traffic safety and market supervision and administration of China as well as the requirements of Chinese standards, and comply with the provisions of China on electromagnetic environmental radiation limits.
