Deeplight‘s Achievements in OpenHarmony Compatibility Certifications (2022–2024)
I. OpenHarmony Compatibility Testing and Certification Services:
Deeplight can assist partners in obtaining the necessary code, using official test suites, and following the mandatory test items outlined in the PCS self-test checklist. We will conduct tests on partner devices in a locally set-up environment until a qualified compatibility test report is obtained.
Note:
Starting from January 1, 2025, new products based on older branches (OpenHarmony 4.0.x Releases and earlier) will no longer be supported for evaluation. However, existing products (those already evaluated) will continue to be supported for upgrade evaluations within the LTS or Release branch maintenance period.
Starting from July 1, 2025, new products based on older branches (OpenHarmony 4.1.x Releases and earlier) will no longer be supported for evaluation. However, existing products (those already evaluated) will continue to be supported for upgrade evaluations within the LTS or Release branch maintenance period.
II. System Adaptation and Porting:
For different types of devices, Deeplight offers professional adaptation and patch integration guidance for lightweight, small, and standard systems, ensuring that the devices fully leverage OpenHarmony‘s features.
III. Failure Case Analysis:
Deeplight provides professional debugging and testing services, quickly locating issues and offering solutions. This includes exemption applications, debug report reviews, and expert technical guidance to improve debugging speed and accuracy.
IV. OpenHarmony Compatibility Testing Suites:
The OpenHarmony testing suites include ACTS, HATS, DCTS, ACTS-Validator, and SSTS.

Note: Not all devices require all the tests listed above. Devices without screens only require testing with ACTS, SSTS, and HATS.
Based on our practical test data, the ACTS test, without device drop-offs, generally takes about 50-60 hours; the HATS test takes approximately 1 hour; the SSTS test takes about ten minutes. Testing time may vary depending on the device‘s code trimming, porting, and adaptation.
For simpler devices, a round of testing can typically be completed within three working days under continuous testing conditions.
Deeplight has a dedicated team for OpenHarmony compatibility testing projects and will complete the testing, problem identification, and provide clients with rectification suggestions in the shortest time possible, allowing customers to focus on development and obtain OpenHarmony certification more quickly.

Exemption Cases:
In actual testing, Fail Case items may still arise due to the system being incomplete or the device lacking certain basic functions. Deeplight will assist customers in submitting exemption applications for these Fail Case items to the official bodies.
V. OpenHarmony Compatibility Certification Version Requirements:
Partners can choose any OpenHarmony LTS (Long Term Support) branch that has already been released for certification. We recommend the latest LTS branch. After selecting the LTS branch, partners should choose the most recent V release for certification (the version must have been released within the last six months when submitting for certification).
VI. OpenHarmony Compatibility Testing Certification Approval Cycle:
The certification approval cycle is 14 working days.
OpenHarmony supports the following device types:

VII. OpenHarmony Device Types and Applicable Test Suites:
The following table outlines the device types and applicable test suites.
